Our outstanding Visitor Services team helps millions of visitors, from around the world, to enjoy beautiful works of art and the magnificence of Windsor Castle every year.
As an Assistant Visitor Services Manager, you'll act as Duty Manager for the site and lead a team of Wardens, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences and the highest standards of care and security across Windsor Castle and Frogmore House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage recruitment, induction, and training processes for new and existing Warden staff.
- Work closely with the Visitor Services Manager and other teams to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Manage daily operations, assist with events, and ensure the highest standards of visitor care and security are upheld.
- Conduct training sessions and ensure staff are briefed on current information, procedures, and any additional events for the day.
- Take charge of daily briefings, answering questions, and ensuring the smooth flow of the visitor route as well as the safety and security of visitors and the site.
- Supervise a team of Wardens, motivating them to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring the security of the Royal Collection.
- Monitor visitor flow to ensure safety and help manage seasonal activities and tours.
