This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Elections Manager to join our Law & Governance team.

The Role

  • Providing strategic leadership of the Council's elections functions.
  • Delivering the full range of elections and electoral registration duties.
  • Managing statutory processes and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Leading both permanent and temporary staff during high-pressure situations.

What we are looking for

  • AEA qualified Elections Manager with demonstrable experience of leading or managing an elections team.
  • Experience of leading and managing change in a regulatory environment to deliver service improvement.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders (including elected members).
  • Politically neutral, resilient, and flexible.
