The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) is set in the wider county of Berkshire, one of the most economically productive and innovative areas of the country. RBWM is a unique borough, with huge opportunity given its proximity to London and expanding business sectors, as well as being a major cultural and tourism area which includes international attractions such as Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Sustainability Projects Officer to join our Sustainability and Climate team.
The Role: Reporting to the Net Zero Energy Manager, the successful candidate will analyse data and work with the team to build project pipelines and develop funding applications with a priority focus on energy, decarbonisation, flooding and climate adaption.
Your role will involve:
- Analysis of large numerical datasets and using mapping software to identify project opportunities which support the Council’s Plan 2024-2028.
