As a Social Worker, you\’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team helping adults manage serious mental health challenges and access the care they need to live well.Working Style:You\’ll be based in the Borough for four days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you\’re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you\’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents\’ lives.What you\’ll be doing:This is a role where you\’ll make a real difference. You\’ll carry out assessments under the Care Act and other key legislation, working with people and their carers to develop clear, personalised support plans – including personal budgets and crisis responses when needed. You\’ll also support carers through their own assessments, making sure their needs are recognised too.You\’ll play a key role in safeguarding and always keeping detailed records to make sure information is accurate and up to date.You\’ll be working closely with a range of professionals, from health teams to voluntary services, and you\’ll have regular supervision to reflect on your work and keep growing in your practice.For further details, please review the Job Description and Person Specification What you\’ll bringYou\’ll be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, and ideally already an AMHP – or willing to train to become one.You\’ll have experience working with adults with mental health needs, ideally in diverse communities, and feel confident applying legislation like the Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
