Help shape one of London’s most iconic boroughs. The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea is seeking an experienced planning lawyer to lead our specialist Planning, Highways and Licensing Team within our highly regarded bi-borough legal service.
This is a unique opportunity to advise on some of the most complex and high-profile planning matters in local government, working at the heart of decision-making across two central London authorities. You'll lead a team of around ten legal professionals while advising senior officers, elected Members and committees on significant developments, strategic projects and governance matters that help shape the future of our communities.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant experience in planning law and expertise in either highways or licensing law. We welcome applications from candidates working in private practice, public sector organisations or other relevant environments.
