The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is a diverse, dynamic borough, home to over 144,000 residents from more than 50 nationalities. We are a community with high expectations and a shared ambition to create a better future. We are focused on driving progress, rebuilding trust, and ensuring our residents are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve made commitments to our residents, and we need to deliver to them.
As the Head of Capital Delivery, you’ll work closely with the Head of Asset Management and Investment, to lead an ambitious capital programme delivering improvements to RBKC’s homes worth over £50m annually. You’ll oversee every stage of delivery—concept, strategy, construction, and completion. It’s a role that demands innovation, accountability, and collaboration, ensuring residents' needs and aspirations shape the projects we deliver. You’ll understand and respect the disruption that can be caused whilst working on and in residents’ homes and will do all that you can to minimise the impact.
This is your opportunity to lead a talented team, embedding a culture of co-design, transparency, and responsibility. Your leadership will inspire excellence, streamline processes, and deliver meaningful engagement with residents and stakeholders. You'll deliver results with our communities that have a tangible, positive impact on the borough.
To succeed, you’ll need a proven track record in capital project delivery, ideally in the public or regulated sectors. With strong expertise in construction management, customer and stakeholder engagement, you’ll bring sharp decision-making and a calm, politically astute approach.
This is a chance to shape the borough’s future while ensuring every project reflects fairness, innovation, and sustainability. Your work will leave a legacy of trust and transformation for our residents.
