The Royal Ballet and Opera continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. Our Covent Garden theatre has been at the heart of London and British cultural life for three centuries. We are home to two world-class Companies: The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera.
We are now seeking to appoint to the additional position of Network Engineer in our Technology Team in which you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining our IT infrastructure and telco networks. You will design and build robust, scalable, and secure networking and telco solutions, aligning with business needs, and with a security-first approach. Collaborating with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure high availability and performance of networks and telco and ensure technical challenges are communicated and there is an alignment with business needs.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in the design, implementation, administration and support of infrastructure network and telco technologies, solutions, and services.
- Proven experience in Technology teams and understanding of cloud security and compliance practices.
- The ability to break a problem down into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes and troubleshoot and identify problems across different technology capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Closing date for applications: 8am, Monday 3rd March 2025. Interviews will be held across 2 stages; the first will be online via MS Teams w/c 10th March 2025 and the second stage will be in person at ROH Covent Garden with a practical assessment w/c 17th March 2025.
