The setting has circa 80 colleagues who support up to 335 children including our busy before and after school club. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances, we provide experiences that will help them be confident and reach their full potential.\n \nAbout you As our Chef, you will have lots of stamina, patience, creativity?and imagination with?an abundance?of great ideas to enhance?mealtimes. The key responsibilities of the role include the?planning, preparation and serving of age appropriate,?nutritious?and?well -balanced?meals and snacks catering for the children's individual?dietary?requirements?and food allergies. You will be responsible for the ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock and ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants?ensure hygiene and?cleanliness?within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with?Environmental?Health?requirements?and legislation.?\n \nA minimum Level 3 qualification in food hygiene is an essential requirement along with?excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency?This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
