Located in a beautiful setting close to Bury St Edmunds and Thetford, our little RAFAKidz family are always busy with trips out, picnics, parties and outdoor learning. For every child that comes through the doors of RAFAKidz, no matter their ability, background or circumstances, we provide experiences that will help them be confident and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparation and serving of age appropriate, nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks catering for the children's individual dietary requirements and food allergies.
- Ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock.
- Ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants maintain hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen to the highest standard.
A minimum Level 3 qualification in food hygiene is an essential requirement along with excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency. This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
