The Royal Academy of Arts currently has an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer to join our Philanthropy team. The RA’s Development department plays a vital role in the success and growth of the Royal Academy as a dynamic and independent institution. Receiving no government subsidy, we rely on Development to secure major gifts through an innovative fundraising approach.
The Individual Giving Officer will play a pivotal role working alongside stakeholders to raise funds from many of the RA’s most significant supporters, securing donations from individuals for revenue, endowment and exhibitions. This role will also support the Chair’s Circle Patrons group as well as play a key role in the team as we embark on our highly ambitious endowment campaign.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a passionate belief in the work, vision and mission of the Royal Academy of Arts. You will have experience of securing donations from individuals, along with managing a donor portfolio and working with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will be target-driven and possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and keen to develop their fundraising experiences.
