Reception VolunteerOur reception front desk is manned by a team of volunteers and paid staff. We provide the highest quality customer service ensuring that all visitors and enquiries are handled efficiently and courteously in a warm and friendly manner.We are currently seeking volunteers who can support with cover onthe 2nd Saturday of each month from 12.30-4.30pm and/or the 4th Saturday of each month from 12.30-4.30pm

What you will be doing

  • Welcoming visitors to the hospice and assisting or signposting as necessary
  • Answering the reception telephone, giving advice or transferring the call to the required person/department
  • Maintain tidiness in the reception area
