Description

In-Patient Complementary Therapies Volunteers

We are looking to increase the In-Patient Unit activities with a wide range of complementary therapies to include Chiropody and Facials/nail painting (beauty therapy) to add to our existing services of Hand/Foot Massage therapies that are delivered by Volunteers at the Hospice.

We know from experience that complementary therapies can help calm emotions, relieve anxiety and increase the general sense of health and wellbeing. We would be asking you to offer the therapy once a week or fortnight depending on your availability.

We recognise this is you offering your time and expertise which we would be very grateful of but we also know many of our volunteers enjoy giving their time to patients and carers at this time of need.
