At Rowans Hospice, we know from experience that complementary therapies can help calm emotions, relieve anxiety and increase the general sense of health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a complementary therapy volunteer to offer their time once a week to our patients on our In-patient Unit. We hope to offer our patients a wide range of complementary therapies to include Chiropody and Facials/nail painting (beauty therapy) to add to our existing services of Hand/Foot Massage therapies.

We recognise this is you offering your time and expertise which we would be very grateful of but we also know many of our volunteers enjoy giving their time to patients and carers at this time of need.

Experience is necessary.

Rowans Hospice is committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of all children and vulnerable adults needing our care and support. Subsequently, our recruitment process is thorough, ensuring a consistent and detailed approach to gather information from and about candidates so that all persons appointed are suitable to work with children and vulnerable adults.
