The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

This role is key to ensure all FLM's are trained to the appropriate level and ensure driver and fleet compliance is maintained to the highest standard. In addition, work collaboratively with departments to drive cross functional working with colleagues, looking at processes and opportunities to help reduce costs through continuous improvement.

What you will contribute:

  • Ensure all colleagues are working towards an appropriate, cost-effective way and best RTM.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Help the department processes remain legally compliant versus data/KPI analysis and reports.
  • Assist in the formulation of strategic and operational objectives in line with the Transport Manager and business objectives.
  • Where necessary – Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of the distribution drivers and cover the day-to-day operations where necessary.
  • To analyse all digital tachograph recordings for all relevant Company drivers, ensuring full compliance of EU Tachograph Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
  • Review operational progress on a weekly basis and reschedule activities as deemed appropriate to achieve planned work in the most cost-effective way.
  • Provide details of any changes to the Distribution management team and all relevant colleagues in a timely manner.

  • High Performing individual who can think outside the box to deliver solutions to minimise any Customer disruptions.
  • Supervisory experience is essential in a bakery environment to provide support and leadership to the distribution drivers/FLM's, creating a motivating and engaging environment.
  • Effective communicator and innovative thinker to maintain an environment of continuous improvement and inclusion.
  • Experience of delivery distribution in line with all legislative requirements to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Must hold a TMCPC Qualification.
  • HGV Licence desirable.
