Job Purpose
You will train to become a Warehouse Supervisor – controlling all warehouse operations with the primary objective of maintaining optimum stocks of all raw materials and packaging to support production requirements in line with company procedures.
What you will contribute
- Maintain orderly & hygienic warehouses in accordance with company health & safety guidelines and perform risk assessments when required.
- Determine forward usage of all raw and packaging materials from the production programme and sales forecasts, and order sufficient materials to support production requirements when needed; key interfaces – vendors, procurement, planning & operations.
- Maintain correct stock rotation of all raw materials and packaging using FIFO principles, ensuring procedures are in place for effective and traceable allocation of materials to production.
- Support the warehouse Leader with flexible ways of working, i.e. picking up operative duties for holiday/absence leave, departmental administration, vendor management, staff management & KPI’s.
