Personal assistant / Support Worker within the Sandbach area to assist with various aspects of client’s daily life, supporting with physical and mental wellbeing. You would be part of a small team working with me individually. The client is looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and local to Sandbach. A valid driving licence, own car and appropriate insurance are essential.
Hours and rate of pay: £14 per hour with holiday pay. Approx. 3 hours, usually one afternoon per week (Tuesday preferably, or Monday/Weds). Some additional hours will be available during school holidays.
Main Duties- Take me to and support me during appointments.
- Provide transport to visit my parents (2.5 miles away).
- Support me with shopping and going to social situations.
- Take me to leisure centre to go swimming.
- Fetch / prepare food for me and ensure I have taken my medication.
- Help me to be organised.
- Assist with household tasks.
- Full clean driving licence.
- DBS check required.
- Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Assistant must respect privacy and maintain dignity.
- Assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
- Must be able to work well independently.
- Assistant must account for all aspects of work, ask what my needs are and listen to directions and requests.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure will be funded through your employer.
