Personal Care Assistant required in the Moorgate S60 area of Rotherham.
Position: 2 Personal Care Assistants.
Working hours: Flexible, 32 hours for Position 1 and 30 hours for Position 2. Possible nights.
Driving licence essential.
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour.
Duties Include:
- Accompany and support the gentleman in accessing the community and encouraging participation.
- Help plan and suggest activities outside the home.
- Take a proactive approach in all aspects of the role.
- Provide personal care, including encouragement and prompting with dressing if required.
- Meal and drink preparation.
- General light household duties may be required on occasion.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Liaise with colleagues and family to discuss any relevant concerns.
About You:
- Can work under own initiative.
- Experience supporting an individual with challenging behaviour is desirable; training will be provided.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, flexible, with a positive attitude and calm manner.
- Possess clear and concise communication skills.
- Driver licence essential.
- DBS check required; expense paid by employer.
