Pharmacist Opportunity, Kyle of Lochalsh & Broadford Scottish Highlands

5 days per week with 1 in 2 Saturdays, covering across 2 pharmacies

£56,000 to £66,000 depending on IP status

Full time, permanent

We’re looking for a pharmacist to join our incredible teams across Kyle of Lochalsh and Broadford, serving two close-knit Highland communities surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery Scotland has to offer. Mountains, coastline, fresh air, and a community that genuinely knows and values its healthcare teams.

This is a rare opportunity that has only become available due to the retirement of our long-standing pharmacist after many successful years in the role. Working across both pharmacies, you’ll quickly see how rewarding this role can be. You won’t only support local residents, you’ll also care for the many visitors and tourists who travel through the Highlands each year. No two days are ever quite the same.

Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that genuinely cares about making a difference. We believe community pharmacy should still feel personal, supportive and valued, and our teams work hard every day to deliver exactly that.

A Huge Part of This Opportunity, Your Accommodation Included

Included as part of the package is a fully furnished, rent‑free 3 bedroom flat located directly above Kyle Pharmacy. The flat is warm, cosy and spacious, with off‑street parking included, making it an ideal home whether you’re relocating on your own, with a partner or with family.

Being able to walk downstairs to work while living in the heart of such a beautiful Highland community is a lifestyle opportunity that rarely comes along. It removes much of the stress and cost that often comes with relocating and allows you to settle quickly into both the role and the community.

For the right person, this is far more than accommodation. It’s the chance to properly build a life in one of the most stunning parts of Scotland.

What we offer:

  • A supportive and experienced pharmacy team
  • A meaningful community‑focused role
  • The chance to live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland
  • Fully furnished rent‑free accommodation included
  • Spacious 3‑bedroom flat above Kyle Pharmacy
  • Off‑street parking included
  • A role with real long‑term stability and impact

This is an opportunity for a pharmacist who wants more than a routine role. It’s for someone who values community, relationships, and the chance to genuinely enjoy where they live as much as where they work. If you’re looking for a fresh start, a lifestyle change, or simply a role where you can truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll get:

  • £54,000 to £66,000 depending on IP status
  • GPhC fees covered
  • Independent Prescriber support if you want it
  • Ongoing training and genuine career progression
  • A growing company with room to move and develop
  • The chance to shape and expand private services in your community

Who you are:

  • You’re GPhC registered, or about to be.
  • You care about patients, and you show it.
  • You like leading a team and setting the tone.
  • You either have your IP or you want to work towards it.
  • You enjoy a busy day and the satisfaction of running a tight ship.
  • Most importantly, you want your work to matter.
