We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join a brand-new care package supporting J, a gentleman with cerebral palsy and autism, in his own home and community. J has a great sense of humour, enjoys social interaction, and likes to maintain his independence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new support team and help build consistent, person-centred support from the beginning.
About the Role
You will provide high-quality support tailored to Jβs needs, including:
- Supporting daily living routines
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Assisting with community access and activities
- Building a positive and supportive relationship
J attends a day centre three times per week independently.
Shift Patterns
This package provides 24/7 support with a variety of shifts available, including:
- 9am β 9pm day shifts
- 3pm β 9am sleep-in shifts
- 3pm - 9pm Evenings
- Waking night shifts
Flexible availability is preferred.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Caring and reliable nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous care or support experience welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided
