We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene & Asset Care Operative to join us in Roberts Bakery on a Temp to Perm contract. Previous experience is desirable although we will consider candidates who display the appropriate candidate requirements. Full training will be provided.
What you will contribute:
- Carry-out all manual activities (including loading, unloading, pallet truck and general cleaning duties and tasks)
- Gain machine awareness (i.e. lock off procedures, start & stop and E-stops)
- Understanding of products, equipment, and chemical variances (counts, production records, waste & returns)
- Quality awareness & reporting (hygiene requirements, product audit requirements, out of spec, equipment & pests)
- Adhere to continuous improvement initiatives
What you will bring:
- Food manufacturing experience is desirable
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification is desirable, though not essential
- Knowledge of food industry machinery will be beneficial to this role, although is not essential
- Good time management skills
- Good attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and a desire to develop and grow within the business
- Can demonstrate our family values in all that you do
Salary: Competitive
Shift: 168 Day/Night (i.e. 2 Days/2 Nights then 4 days off, repeat)
