Job Title: Male Children’s Support worker/Personal Assistant (This job advertisement for males only falls as an Exception Under the Equality Act 2010)
Hours per week: 2 hours per week on Fridays from 2-4pm
Location: Old Colwyn, Colwyn Bay
Rate of pay: £15.60 per hour
About me:
I am recruiting a male children’s support worker for my 12, nearly 13, year old son. This role is to support him within the home to begin to get to know him. The long term goal is to support my son to become more independent and leave the house to do activities. Applicants should be patient and willing to take time to know my Son and gain his trust. The person must be experienced with Autism , ADHD , Dyslexia, PDA and OCD and be willing to assist my Son with personal care when required.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To get to know my son and support him within the home, be patient and gain his trust.
Support him with his confidence and independence with the view to take him out and about from the home in the future.
Support with personal care when required.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
