We are looking for a Registered Home Manager to manage and lead a new 2 Bed Occupancy Children’s Home in Derby City, to help children become part of a family and give them the best possible life chances. The successful person should hold registration under the Children’s Homes Regulations, maintain registration standards and adhere to the Act’s regulations, policies, and procedures.
About you:
- The successful candidate should have experience of working within a children’s home setting. You must be enthusiastic about supporting vulnerable young people and possess management and leadership experience.
- Level 3 / Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent and 2 years’ experience in management/supervisory. You must be willing to complete the level 5 QCF within 18 months.
- At least 2 years significant management/supervisory experience in a care setting within the past 3 years at a proficient level.
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
