Fordingbridge. An Allegra Care Home. Here at Fordingbridge, our household model delivers person-centred care with a focus on homely activities, life skills and maintaining independence. Our teams work closely together with our residents and we are now looking for an Activity Assistant to work with our household teams.

We are currently recruiting for an Activity Coordinator in a lively care home in the beautiful New Forest town of Fordingbridge where no two days are the same! We have a schedule available for 30 hours a week, and the pay is £13.20 per hour. Alternate weekends will be a part of the schedule, and we can discuss your schedule at interview.

We are looking for someone who would be an asset to our team – fun, compassionate, with a ‘can do’ personality and the ability to work alone and as part of a team. You'll be encouraging others to take part and have a go. You need to have some experience in care, as well as strong organisational skills. You'll be able to plan a wide variety of activities based on the individual needs of our residents.

Allegra Care can offer you a beautiful working environment in the heart of the New Forest, with a company that cares. IT skills and organisational skills are advantageous; however, a full training package is provided. Activities roles require creativity and passion.
