To support my child within the home or accessing social opportunities within the community. My child is a very lively 10-year-old girl with autism, semi-verbal (uses single words) to communicate or request for her preferred items.
Work Duties will include:
- Identify local social activities
- Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things
- Helping them to develop social skills
- Encouraging independence
Other requirements:
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality
- Always ensuring the safety of the child
Requirements for applicant:
- Imagination in relation to activities to undertake

- Flexible, reliable and honest
- Physically fit, agile and energetic
- Understanding of autism essential
- Full driving license with business insurance within your policy
- DBS Check will be completed
