Female Support Worker required in Worcester. We are looking for someone to support us in joining a small care team that we have in place to look after our daughter, who has complex needs and is 20 years of age. Your role will be in working very closely with us, members of the family and team leader in ensuring our daughter is enabled to maximise her full potential.
Experience is essential, and we are looking for the right person who is passionate about working with young people, enthusiastic, fun and someone who is able to demonstrate initiative in working within a team. From our daughter’s perspective she would say that she is a real “girly” girl and loves music, being pampered and people being really happy around her. She is very social and enjoys going out and about to the theatre, cinema and clubbing!
A Driving License is essential. Contracted hours and zero-hour contracts are available. Shift options include:
- Before and after college: 7.00am to 11.00am and 3pm to 9.00pm
- Saturdays: 08.30am to 4.00pm
- Extra hours during the school holidays, including long days
- Sleep-in night shifts: 9.00pm to 7.00am (normal hourly rate is paid until midnight and then the sleep-in rate until 06.00am and then back to normal hourly rate)
Rate of pay – Mon – Fri - £14.20 per hour.
