Job purpose: To support my 9-year-old son within the home or accessing social opportunities within the community. My child is non-verbal, has been diagnosed with ADHD, autism and a genetic disorder. He has a huge smile and loves anything digger, lorry, train related. He loves the outdoors. I am looking for support after school once a week, occasional weekend hours and one day during half terms.
Work Duties:
- Supporting him with toileting and personal care.
- Support him with basic day to day tasks.
- Support him in all aspects of socialising.
- Take him out to enjoy outdoor activities.
Other Requirements:
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality.
- Always ensuring the safety of the child.
