About me: I am a young man of 11 years old, in the Glan Conwy area who has autism and learning difficulties. I am looking for a kind, patient support worker who is reliable to accompany me on trips out and about, engaging in fun activities, the park and beach as well as other activities to encourage my social interaction, whilst maintaining constant supervision to ensure my safety. I may need some personal care, and assistance with food and drinks is required. You will be using your own car to transport me, so you will need a full driver’s licence and business cover on your car insurance. Proof of business insurance cover and valid MOT will need to be shown to your employer.

Tasks and duties, to include any or all the following:
- Overall care of the young man, whilst maintaining constant supervision to ensure his comfort and safety at all times.
- Personal care, including helping him to the toilet and maintaining his hygiene in a dignified manner.
- Preparing and giving him snacks & drinks, and ensuring his safety while eating and drinking.
- Playing & talking with him and engaging in fun activities.
- Driving him to trips out and about, taking him to places such as the beach, park etc according to his needs and interests.
- Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
- Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references. We are not able to offer sponsorship so proof of Right to Work in the UK is essential.
