About the Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee the launch and ongoing operation of our Residential and Respite Care in Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation from the beginning, shaping high-quality residential care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate and supervise the staff team.
- Support staff development through supervise training.
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments and behaviour strategies.
- Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Work in partnership with professionals and families.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum Level 3 diploma in Residential childcare (or Equivalent)
- Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
- Significant experience in children's residential setting
- Full UK driving license (preferred)
