Hours: This is a shift role working 12‑hour and weekend shifts to support the customer site based in Newcastle Under Lyme. This role would suit anyone who wants to make a move into engineering.
The Role
This role would interest anyone who wants to work within a team and learn about automation and warehouse logistics. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Lead Maintenance Engineer, will liaise with the customers operational team and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the automation delivers the daily operational plan.
- Ensuring Simple Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Reactive tasks are managed quickly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance Management System, including booking spares, time, machine and fault information.
- Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained.
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
