The Opportunity

Bakery Operative Morning Goods, Slicing (Fixed Term Contract 3 months) working in our Morning Goods bread production department in Northwich. Previous experience is desirable although we will consider candidates who have had experience in a fast-moving production environment. Full training will be provided.

What you will contribute:

  • Follow instructions of daily work structure.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Meet delivery deadlines by ensuring efficient processing of workload.
  • Maintain personal standards (hygiene) & a clean as you go policy.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and report any non-conformances to the relevant supervisor or manager.
  • Maintain the food safety, legality and quality standards as set.
  • Awareness of staff and equipment in your area.
  • Fully engage with the safety programme, work in a safe responsible manner & not endanger your safety or the safety of others.
  • Adhere to SOPs, CICs, SSOWs, WIs, procedures and risk assessments.
  • Full knowledge of manual handling requirements.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Capable and willing to learn new skills and apply them consistently.
  • Capable of working in small teams to achieve quality products and meet production targets.

Hours of work: 4 Days (07:00-19:00) 4 off rotating.
