Job Title: Adult Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week: 4 hours per week to be worked on a Wednesday or Friday depending on activity, hours can be discussed further at interview, and will be agreed mutually in advance and may be in the day time or evenings.
Location: Abergele, Conwy
Rate of pay: Β£14.75 per hour
About me:
I am an adult male diagnosed with fragile X syndrome and have a learning disability. I am looking for a personal assistant to support me with accessing the community. I am looking for someone that can take me to my social activities such as Conwy connect, the cinema and costa coffee. I would also like to build awareness of life and personal safety skills when out and about such as finances, weekly shopping and road safety. A driving license and business insurance is required by applicants to take me to my activities.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To take me to any activities such as Conwy connect.
To take me out and about in the community to social activities.
To support me when out and about and teach me life skills such as finances.
To support to improve personal safety in areas such as road safety
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
