CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands.
This is a family‑run precision engineering business offering a CNC Miller Programmer role. You will programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines on a variety of projects including bespoke components, jigs, fixtures, and small‑to‑medium batch production. The role includes hands‑on programming responsibility and consistent projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
What You’ll Do
- Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture precision components and bespoke parts.
- Work across varied engineering projects.
- Program, set and operate—going beyond a basic operator role.
- Operate with tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
- Produce small‑to‑medium batch production and bespoke work.
- Support CAD/CAM and 3D modelling processes where required.
- Work with jigs and fixtures.
- Maintain high precision engineering standards.
Qualifications
- CNC milling background with programming capability.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Comfortable working to precision engineering standards.

Compensation & Hours
- Pay: £18‑£20 per hour depending on experience.
- Day shift: 7:30am–4:30pm Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–12:30pm Friday.
- Night shift option with 30% shift allowance.
- Half‑day on Friday with an early finish.
