An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, energetic and committed team player to join The Roundhill Academy as Head of Year on a permanent basis. The Head of Year will have the opportunity to work closely with students providing pastoral care in line with our whole school values of Nurture, Enrich and Inspire.

The post holder will be assigned a year group to take responsibility of working closely with the wider pastoral team and line managed by the Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for our behaviour culture. The successful candidate will work to safeguard students and have a role promoting positive behaviour for learning. This role also incorporates attendance oversight for your year group with strategic support in place.

This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to take responsibility to encourage, guide and support student wellbeing and academic achievement at the school, ensuring students achieve to the best of their ability.
