Originally established as an adult education provider, we have grown into a thriving community hub delivering education, wellbeing support, housing services, employability programmes, community development initiatives and social impact projects.

We are looking for a passionate and community-focused individual to coordinate, develop and deliver projects that improve lives, strengthen communities and create opportunities for people facing disadvantage.
Initially, the role will focus on our Gambling Harms Awareness Programme and housing-related initiatives, while supporting the development of future projects that respond to community need and create lasting impact.
We are looking for someone who understands the realities of exclusion, vulnerability and complex life challenges whilst remaining focused on people's strengths, aspirations and potential.
Working closely with colleagues across our Education and People & Places teams, as well as a range of external partners, you will help ensure projects are engaging, impactful and responsive to the needs of local communities.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Working with people experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, addiction, recovery, social exclusion or other forms of disadvantage, including those facing complex and multiple challenges.
- Delivering, coordinating or developing community, wellbeing, housing, support or social impact programmes.
- Working collaboratively with housing, health, voluntary, community or statutory organisations, with strong communication and partnership-building skills.
- Strong organisational, planning and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and monitor outcomes.
- Ability to build trust, maintain professional boundaries and apply strengths-based, person-centred approaches.
- Ability to analyse information, solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Good digital, administrative and report-writing skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and supporting vulnerable adults.
- Gambling harms prevention, recovery, addiction services or behaviour change programmes.
- Managing grant-funded, commissioned or contract-based projects, including performance monitoring and reporting.
- Co-production approaches that involve people with lived experience in shaping services.
- Facilitating groups, peer support activities, training sessions or community engagement events.
- Contributing to funding applications, project development or the mobilisation of new services and initiatives.
- Knowledge of housing, health, welfare, employment or community support networks within the Liverpool City Region.
