Experienced General Manager for Livelyhood (live out). Livelyhood is proud to be an independent London Hospitality Operator. We’re keen to find a proven General Manager who loves pubs, is passionate about guest experience & who is ready to bring their Pub Owner Mindset with them – because at Livelyhood, our GMs really have autonomy and our most successful GMs thrive on it!

Who are You?

  • You are an experienced Pub General Manager who has run their site with passion – as if they own it.
  • You’re committed to people – that's guests, your team, suppliers and charity partners.
  • You’re inspired by self‑accountability, full P & L ownership and delivery of a successful pub you can be proud of, with community and neighbourhood hospitality at its very heart.
  • You’ll want to collaborate and have regular chats with your GM peers – we actively encourage this way of working as we passionately believe Peer to Peer support and relationships are key to yours and Livelyhood’s success.
  • We also want to hear your ideas for moving your site forward. There are loads of opportunity to have your voice, create your own plans for your business and be the difference.
  • The experience you have developed in turning a business around and/or generating revenue growth is absolutely key.
  • You find enjoyment in delighting guests & thrive from putting a smile on our guests, our teams & our suppliers’ faces, driving from the front.
  • You enjoy collaborating with the marketing team to discuss ideas, promote events, specials and initiatives to attract and retain guests.
  • Previous experience working with sport and food, while not essential, would also be highly advantageous.
  • The FUN art of hospitality is your oxygen (as it is ours).

What’s in it for You

  • A competitive salary of £45k‑£48k based on your experience + tronc + bonus.
  • Additional tronc/service payments – in region of a further £5k a year. OTE £50k – £53k.
  • 45‑hour working weeks is the norm.
  • Additional quarterly General Manager bonus plan of £2500 a quarter / £10k a year plus an over‑and‑above EBITDA annual bonus scheme.
  • 40% food and drink discount for you and 3 guests valid in all sites from day one.
