Livelyhood Pub Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager. We are on the hunt for a lively and enthusiastic individual to join our independent pub family! Livelyhood is a successful, independent London pub operator, and our pubs are places where meaningful connections are made, and every guest leaves with a smile and a reason to return.

About the Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences while supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help drive sales, coach and inspire your team, and bring energy to a space where food, drink, and warm hospitality come together.

  • You enjoy proactively supporting the General Manager to drive sales and exceed targets.
  • Previous experience working with food and outdoor spaces would be a strong advantage.
  • You’ve successfully held a management role in a busy, high-performing pub or restaurant (with a weekly turnover of £15k+).

This is a role where you will truly partner with the General Manager and work with the team to grow the business, creating memorable guest experiences and delivering excellent hospitality to our Wanstead community.

  • A competitive salary between £30,420-£33,420 based on your experience.
  • Additional tronc/service payments & a bonus plan - £700 bonus pot a quarter.
