We are seeking a Practice Nurse who has worked within a GP Practice to work in conjunction with our existing nursing team which comprises of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants (HCAs). Responsibilities will be for the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to our patient population. The successful candidate must be well presented and have good IT skills. Previous Primary Care experience essential, EMIS clinical system experience essential. Salary depending on experience.
Main duties of the job:
- To plan and deliver high quality integrated nursing care to the practice population
- To promote health and well-being within the practice population
- Running chronic disease management clinics
- To undertake Cervical Cytology Screening
- To implement vaccination programmes for children and adults
- Contraception and family planning
- To work with clinical and non-clinical practice staff, other members of the wider healthcare team and NHSE/ICB in contributing to:
- Deliver objectives set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Strongly contribute to the attainment of QOF targets
- Deliverance of Enhanced Services
About us: We are a friendly 8,000+ patient population GP Surgery in Rossington, Doncaster, located in an ex-mining village. 5 Partnership supported by dedicated teams of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Nursing Associate, HCAs, as well as friendly management and administration team. We are also a training practice - hosting student Nurses, Medical Students.
