As a Cluster Meetings & Events Manager, you will be responsible for driving Meetings, Events, Conference and Wedding revenue across a portfolio of luxury hotels. This is a proactive sales-focused role centred on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, increasing market share and positioning the hotels as premier destinations for luxury events and weddings. You will act as a brand ambassador, representing the hotels within the local and regional business community, cultivating relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, wedding planners and luxury lifestyle partners. Through a combination of networking, business development, account management and market intelligence, you will generate new revenue streams while enhancing the visibility and reputation of the hotel group.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Proactively seek and secure new Meetings, Events, Conference and Wedding business across all cluster properties.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Identify and convert new corporate accounts, event agencies and strategic partners.
- Conduct regular client appointments, sales calls, site visits and venue showcases.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers across corporate, association, social and luxury event sectors.
- Wedding Market Growth
- Lead initiatives to increase wedding enquiries, bookings and revenue across the hotel portfolio.
- Build relationships with wedding planners, luxury bridal suppliers, photographers, florists and event designers.
- Represent the hotels at wedding fairs, bridal showcases, and luxury lifestyle events.
- Develop bespoke wedding experiences that reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Networking & Brand Representation
- Act as an ambassador for the luxury hotel group within the local business and hospitality community.

- Establish partnerships with local businesses, luxury brands, tourism organisations, and referral partners.

- Ensure all Meetings, Events and Wedding listings across online directories, venue-finding platforms and wedding websites are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to maximise exposure across digital channels.
- Contribute to the development of promotional campaigns, luxury event packages and sales collateral.
- Monitor online presence and recommend enhancements to improve lead generation and conversion.
- Revenue & Performance
- Achieve and exceed individual and cluster sales targets.
- Drive revenue growth across meetings, conferences, events, private dining and weddings.
- Monitor enquiry conversion, booking pace and market performance.
- Produce regular sales activity reports and pipeline updates.
- Ensure all opportunities and account activity are accurately maintained within the CRM system.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel sales, luxury hospitality sales, business development, events sales, or wedding sales.
- Proven track record of generating new business and delivering revenue growth.
