Sommelier - London

We\’re seeking a confident and charismatic Sommelier to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you\’ll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years\’ experience as a Sommelier in the luxury hospitality market
• WSET qualification or equivalent industry certification
• Ensure daily wine service operations are carried out including stock management, table service, cleaning, and opening and closing duties
• Provide personalised wine recommendations to members and guests to elevate their dining experience
• Greet and engage members and guests warmly, creating a memorable first impression
• Maintain a deep passion for wine coupled with the desire to continue expanding your knowledge
• Support the Head Sommelier in curating and managing a wine list that reflects The Roof Gardens\’ commitment to excellence
• Assist in designing and delivering wine training programmes for F&B, FOH, and Events teams to enhance product knowledge and drive sales
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

The Roof Gardens is a social club in the sky, 100 feet above the streets of Kensington. Close to an acre of private gardens with views across London to the horizon, The Roof Gardens is a new generation members club.
