The Role
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our finance function.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll oversee day-to-day finance operations while providing strategic financial leadership across the business.
Working closely with our Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations teams, you'll drive financial performance, strengthen controls and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls and efficient processes.
- Support the Finance Director in delivering the Company's financial strategy and long-term business objectives.
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, providing commercial insight to support business performance and growth.
- Partner with leaders across Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations to drive profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce timely management accounts, Board reporting, KPI dashboards, cash flow reporting and financial analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, cash flow, payroll support and general ledger activities.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including statutory accounts, audit, VAT and tax compliance.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and processes.
- Lead, develop and inspire the Finance team, building a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Build strong relationships across the business, positioning Finance as a trusted commercial partner.
About you
- Significant senior finance experience within luxury hospitality, hotels, private members' clubs or premium leisure.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and audit knowledge.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance.
- A track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud-based finance and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for luxury hospitality.
