Close to an acre of private gardens with views across London to the horizon, The Roof Gardens is a new generation members club. A place of escape, bursting with wildflowers, olive and mulberry trees, grassy lawns and hidden nooks. An Art Deco gem created in 1938, The Roof Gardens has a legendary legacy. We’re seeking a confident and charismatic Bars Manager to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you’ll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Bars Manager in the luxury hospitality market
- Oversee the bar operations across The Roof Gardens, ensuring the bar team consistently delivers excellent service to members and guests
- Manage and maintain a large-scale inventory, keeping bars well-stocked and running smoothly for daily service and special events
- Design and update all beverage and cocktail menus, using sales insights to tailor offerings to member preferences and ensuring pricing aligns with budget targets
- Lead and develop the bar team, enhancing their knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and food through collaboration with Sommeliers and the BOH team
- Work collaboratively with the senior management team to achieve the strategic goals of the Food and Beverage department
- Recruit and retain top talent, building a highly motivated team of well-presented and expertly trained bartenders and barbacks
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
