We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic PSHE Teacher with a second specialism in Humanities to join our welcoming and forward‑thinking school. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner who is passionate about student wellbeing, personal development, and high‑quality teaching within the Humanities curriculum. The successful candidate will lead and deliver engaging PSHE lessons while also contributing to curriculum delivery in one or more Humanities subjects (e.g. History/RE).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality PSHE lessons that support students’ personal, social, health, and economic education
- Contribute to the teaching of Humanities within your second specialism
- Support students’ social, emotional, and moral development
- Plan and assess lessons in line with national curriculum and school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance cross‑curricular provision
- Participate in pastoral initiatives and the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
- Be able to teach PSHE confidently across relevant key stages
- Have a second subject specialism in Humanities
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and inclusive teaching practice
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Show enthusiasm, adaptability, and a reflective approach to teaching
