16 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks) Permanent contract. Hours need to be worked within the school day, but there is flexibility on days worked. Support Staff B Grade - £25,614 to £25,956 FTE per annum (Actual Salary £9,500.08-£9,626.92). Start Date: 1st September 2026.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and approachable Admin Assistant to support our busy SEND (Learning Support) department at The Romsey School.

Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the SEND team
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and documentation
  • Input and manage data, including SEND information
  • Support departmental operations (phones, post, stationery)
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide general pupil support
About you
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team
  • Calm, patient and professional, with a positive approach
