16 hours per week, Term Time only (39 weeks) Permanent contract. Hours need to be worked within the school day, but there is flexibility on days worked. Support Staff B Grade - £25,614 to £25,956 FTE per annum (Actual Salary £9,500.08-£9,626.92). Start Date: 1st September 2026.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and approachable Admin Assistant to support our busy SEND (Learning Support) department at The Romsey School.
Responsibilities- Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the SEND team
- Maintain accurate pupil records and documentation
- Input and manage data, including SEND information
- Support departmental operations (phones, post, stationery)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide general pupil support
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team
- Calm, patient and professional, with a positive approach
