Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interior Stylist with experience of Visual Merchandising and Photoshoot coordination to join our team on a fixed term 12-month contract. Do you have a passion for Interiors and Design? We are seeking a highly creative and organised individual to support us with visually communicating our brands across our photography, marketing campaigns, showrooms, exhibitions and events. This multifaceted role combines interior styling, visual merchandising, and photoshoot coordination. You will help bring our collections to life through compelling visual displays and commercial product presentation.
You will collaborate closely with our Creative Directors, Textile Designers, Marketing, PR, Exhibition and Events teams. From co-ordinating all aspects of a photoshoot to designing, planning and styling high profile exhibition stands, installations and events, you will play a key role in showcasing our collections to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate photoshoots liaising with external photographers and stylists to create stunning product imagery
· Design, plan and style exhibitions, events and flagship showroom displays to showcase our new collections
· Plan and execute displays and photoshoots in a professional and timely manner, managing budgets and timescales and coordinating all aspects, including:
o Sourcing furniture and props and instructing seamstresses and upholsterers
o Organising logistics – location booking, prop hire, set build, call sheets, packing lists etc.
o Communicating with external photographers and stylists to plan photoshoots
o Attending photoshoots to ensure all requirements are being met
o Preparing images and formats post-shoot
o Installing showroom, exhibition and event displays
· Use visual merchandising skills to create visual displays for new product launches and update showroom product libraries with new collections
· Act as a central point of contact for all queries relating to photo shoots and visual merchandising of products
· Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation – including seeking feedback from colleagues and customers
We are looking for:
· Excellent visualisation, presentation and communication skills
· Ability to use artistic skills or computer-aided design (CAD) to create moodboards, visuals and plans to effectively communicate ideas
· Strong design and styling experience within Interiors, or a similar creative role, demonstrated in your portfolio
· Highly organised with excellent planning skills and the ability to manage budgets, respond to time frames and meet deadlines in an orderly manner
· Proven experience of photoshoots within Interiors, or a similar role
· IT competent and preferably with skills in design software such as Photoshop
· Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to work effectively with all levels, incl. Heads of Brands / Directors
· Able to adapt to change at short notice and perform under pressure
· Flexible to travel (both within the UK and internationally) and to work evenings or weekends to meet the needs of the role
· Driving license with own transport preferred
