Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when required.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of basic maths for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
• A friendly demeanour with the ability to help create a positive atmosphere for guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
