We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Assistant Manager to join the team at

Located just off Chiswick High Road, The Roebuck is a much-loved local destination combining elevated British pub food, an exceptional drinks offering, live sport, events and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

With a beautiful courtyard garden, buzzing bar and strong community following, The Roebuck is a pub for all occasions, from relaxed weekday lunches and after-work drinks to busy weekends, celebrations and Sunday roasts.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to lead a passionate team, drive exceptional guest experiences and help shape the future success of one of Chiswick's most exciting local pubs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or current Assistant Manager who loves hospitality, thrives in a busy environment and is ready to take the next step in their career with London's largest independent pub and dining group.

  • Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business.
  • Leading from the front and delivering exceptional guest experiences every day.
  • Coaching, developing and motivating the team.
  • Driving sales and helping achieve business targets.
  • Managing shifts, labour control and stock procedures.
  • Ensuring high standards of food, drink and service are consistently delivered.
  • Maintaining compliance, health & safety and licensing standards.
  • Building relationships with our local community and regular guests.
  • Playing a key role in creating a welcoming, energetic and inclusive culture.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Supervisor in a busy hospitality venue.
  • A passion for food, drink and outstanding guest service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to driving sales.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to get stuck in whenever needed.
  • Personal Licence holder desirable but not essential.
