Rocksalt Restaurant and sister site Little Rock are currently recruiting for experienced Chef De Partie’s and Commis chefs to join the group. Rocksalt and Little Rock serve the best locally sourced produce from along the Kent Coast and surrounding Countryside with a strong leaning towards Fish and Seafood, with Rocksalt holding 2 AA Rosette's since its opening in 2011 and Little Rock being included in The Good Food Guide as a local gem.
Rocksalt Restaurant itself sits cantilevered over Folkestone harbour with stunning panoramic views out over the English Channel. The Restaurant also boasts a stunning bar area serving its own separate bar menu plus 4 beautifully restored guest rooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team under the management of Executive Chef Marcin Szelag and General Manager Leon Foissy, who both possess a wealth of experience gained from some of London and The South Easts finest dining destinations.
We are looking for hardworking and creative industry professionals to join the team, ideally with at least 1 year experience in a high end, fast paced kitchen. You must have a willingness to learn, the ability to remain calm under pressure and have great communication skills. NVQ level 2 or 3 and basic food hygiene certificate preferred but not essential.
All kitchen positions are based on 45 hours per week with optional overtime available on a pro‑rata rate. Working as part of the team, making a positive contribution to the friendly atmosphere and smooth running of the premises. Up to £15 p.h package.
