Position Overview
Play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a commercial kitchen.
Renumeration: The on target earnings for this role are £9.05 – £13.71 phr (comprising a base of £7.55 – £12.21phr plus a qualified £1.50 phr in gratuities and service charge).
As a member of the team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards including discount meals on shift and a 25% discount off food and drink across the group.
Young workers (15, 16 or 17)
Will not be asked to work more than 8 hours a day, will receive a 30-minute break if their working day is longer than 4.5 hours and may have to work past 10pm, but will have finished by midnight.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensuring all kitchen areas, including countertops, stoves, ovens, sinks, and floors, are clean and sanitized.
- Dishwashing: Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, either manually or using a dishwasher.
- Inventory Management: Receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and ensuring food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators are well-maintained.
- Waste Disposal: Emptying trash containers and disposing of waste properly.
- Basic Food Preparation: Assisting chefs with tasks like peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring cooking equipment is clean and in working order
