The difference you will make as a Project Officer:
- Support Building Safety Department by co-ordinating and supporting the team in section 20 management and administering compliance systems.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure maximum recovery with a streamlined process.
- Providing essential support for the Type 4 FRA Action delivery team.
About you:
- Experience of working within a Building Safety team, ideally section 20 compliance activity.
- Effective contract management skills, including supporting the management of service and maintenance of contracts inclusive of service improvements and process mapping.
- Clear understanding of risk management and compliance requirements for areas of risk.

Role Profile:
- Assisting the team in managing any works that will require a section 20 consultation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to create and improve the section 20 recovery process.
- Establish close relationships with internal stakeholders to help manage key stages of the section 20 process.
- Assist in monitoring progress of FRA works, ensuring contract obligations are fulfilled.
- Maintain accurate information, including logging of reports using appropriate systems.
- Provide a range of administrative support to the Fire Team.
- Support the Fire Team in the management of Type 4 Fire Risk Actions.
- Process payments for approved contracted works.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with the Group’s policy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities.
- Ensure that all data protection requirements are met.
- Ensure that health and safety requirements are met.
- Respond to leaseholder, managed agent and solicitor queries.
Person specification:
Essential:
- Experience of working within a Building Safety team, ideally section 20 compliance activity.
- Effective contract management skills.
- Clear understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
- Effective stakeholder management.
- Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results driven with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent team player who can work flexibly.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
