The difference you will make as a Senior Compliance Officer (Lifts):
- Support the Contracts Manager in the mobilisation and contract management and contract administer a range of shared spaces & compliance contracts including Building Safety landlord Compliance, and reactive repairs to the fabric of the building and installed equipment.
- Act as the Competent person for management and delivery of service of the Group’s statutory obligations for Compliance to a number of key strategic building safety risks and the legal responsible person.
- This includes the delivery of relevant contracts, ensuring full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, and the implementation of an effective risk management approach to compliance within the Group.

- Proven record of accomplishment of successful contract implementation and management for a large and diverse portfolio of mixed tenure properties.
- In-depth knowledge of contract types, including Knowledge of construction Contracts, service level agreements, contract performance management and dispute resolution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general operating procedures within an Asset Management / Building Safety function.

Role Profile
Role requires you to:
- Accountable for the management of service delivery, contract management, risk management, monitor controls measures and leading risk-based judgements for the following area: Lifting Equipment - Domestic, communal & Commercial lifting equipment.
- Contract Management of all service delivery to our shared spaces, Compliance, and reactive repairs to the fabric of the building and installed equipment.
- Ensure Compliance CDM Regulations and fulfil role of Client and ensure Principal designer and principal contractor appointed.
- Support the Contracts Manager in the development, implementation and review of the Compliance Management model.
- This includes the development of policies, procedures and guidance on behalf of the Group, including the provision of training for colleagues, taking into account up to date legislation, amendments to codes of practice, health and safety requirements and industry best practice, proactively adopting new and innovative ideas and solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the service.
- Support the Contracts manager in their role as the Group’s lead advisor, providing advice and expertise across all services for the lifecycle of buildings including acquisition, design and build, occupation, refurbishment, demolition and disposal, providing technical, procedural, specification and compliance guidance as required.
- Support the Compliance Manager in the scoping, specifying, mobilisation and implementation of all relevant contracts, including assessing the competence of potential suppliers throughout the procurement process and acting as decision maker in terms of successful appointments on behalf of the Group.
- Undertake a review of existing contracted services, driving innovation and seeking out efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities, maintaining this approach on an ongoing basis with contractors over the contract lifecycle, identifying, implementing, and monitoring improvement targets as appropriate.
- Monitor and report on contracts, developing and implementing the appropriate performance framework for each contract, including service level agreements and key performance indicators, leading contract and performance review meetings and dealing with underperformance, including escalation of issues as appropriate.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of data retained in relation to maintenance, repairs, and service charge contracts, to ensure compliance with procurement protocols and to enable analysis to be carried out and relevant reporting as required.
- Carry out analysis of contract data, producing associated reports including findings and recommendations for key stakeholders as required.
- Analyse, assess and interpret Statutory inspections outcomes, Risk Assessment recommendations for high level risks across the Group, acting as decision maker on whether to accept the risk, identifying the most appropriate risk mitigation activity required, planning, commissioning and monitoring all activity to successful completion.
- Plan, schedule and oversee the effective and timely programme of inspections, servicing, risk mitigation activity on behalf of the Group, to ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory and compliance frameworks, recording and following up outcomes and escalating as appropriate to ensure risk reduction activity and control measures are implemented.
- Commission work from both internal colleagues and external contractors as appropriate, effectively monitoring and ensuring all work orders are progressed to completion and in line with agreed performance standards, service level agreements and financial limits, escalating issues and risks as appropriate.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including colleagues and third-party suppliers, providing advice, support and training, building constructive working relationships to effectively deliver the Group’s Compliance objectives.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of relevant budgets, authorising low value payments as required, ensuring expenditure is robustly managed in line with the Group’s financial controls.
- Maintain accurate installation & compliance records using appropriate systems, ensuring the integrity and quality of data, to enable regular analysis to be carried out and reporting to be completed as required.
- Carry out compliance checks post contract award, to ensure ongoing compliance for the duration of the contract, updating and maintaining records accordingly.
- Escalate issues with non-compliance immediately and via the agreed route to ensure arrangements can be made for business areas to continue to access the required supply arrangements.
- Coordinate, review and analyse contract performance data through multiple sources i.e., user feedback, to effectively support contract performance reviews and evaluations.
- Provide clear, supportive and accurate advice to a range of stakeholders including colleagues, to ensure awareness of safety standards and compliance across the Group.
- Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with the Group’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service.

Additional Information:
- The Group has offices across the UK and on this basis, there may be the requirement to travel to other locations to effectively perform this role, albeit that regular support will be required to teams in Camden and Dartford.

Essential:
